When Linda & Marco were expecting their first child, they came to us for an interior design consultation with the desire to plan their future Nursery Furniture to set up. The new baby room is a bright, light-flooded room with a great, large window front and a view of the greenery. It invites you to linger and is made for wonderful cuddles with the newborn. Here we take you on a tour through the children's room. Get inspired.

Furnishing concept for Lio's baby room
The inviting room has three walls and a large window front, through which beautiful light streams into the children's room. Everything important that you need for the initial equipment of a newborn should find a place in the new baby room: a
Changing area, a sleeping place where the baby feels safe and a comfortable retreat for breastfeeding or bottle feeding. Linda and Marco were expecting a boy and wanted a boho-style baby room, bright and modern in different shades of green.
Our furnishing consultant Jenny met Linda and Marco and put together a furnishing concept for them according to their wishes.

Various green and earth tones were combined for the furnishing concept of the children's room in order to create a natural and harmonious ambience. Various decorative elements, such as
Pillow,
Mobile and
canopy in natural, high-quality materials ensure the relaxed and beautiful boho vibe that gives the room a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. As a wall color for the children's room we have
Elephant's Breath 229 from
Farrow & Ball .
The environmentally friendly, water-based paints from
Farrow & Ball are perfect for the children's room. The color supports the desired boho style and at the same time looks very neutral and natural.

The Cam Cam Copenhangen Harelquin Shelfabove the changing table is practical as a shelf for decorations, clothes or the first books. The hooks are great for hanging baby clothes and for decorating.
The beautiful nursing chair and
rocking chair by Quax has been given a prominent position by the window with a view. It is comfortable for breastfeeding or bottle feeding. At the same time, parents can enjoy the view of nature and accompany the baby to sleep with rocking movements.

The beautiful (and washable!) Carpet ofLorena Canals perfectly supports the modern touch and is a simple and convenient Possibility to create a noble ambience.
For the decoration and accessories, we chose fine green and earth tones with some fine, playful natural prints that support the Boho flair and, thanks to their fine colors, still leave plenty of room for what is important.
With subtle light sources, the room becomes a cozy retreat. The Mr. Maria Starlight lamp in the shape of a bear provides fine light and accompanies Lio to sleep.
Three questions to Linda about the children's room
You have had your first child and have settled in well. How has parenting changed your life?
It turns life upside down - but in a positive way! Everyday life at home is completely new, but so much more varied and intense. The new center is now our darling. For me as a singer and presenter, and also for us as a married couple, it is important that we can still pursue our professions and our passions. So I'm already back on stage regularly.
Many questions arise during pregnancy and there is a lot to organize, especially setting up the baby's room. How did you experience that and what did you like best about it?
That was super nice and exciting, the whole anticipation increases with the furnishing of the baby room. It was important to us that we use a mood board to see what the room will look like in the end and how it can be changed later when the baby is older. I'm very perfectionist, so I also wanted everything to be color correct. I had an idea in mind and now I have furnished just such a beautiful room for Lio - together with MY SNOWFLAKE. We are super happy.
Why did you choose the furniture from Oliver Furniture decided?
That came from the advice and from the inspiration in the shop of MY SNOWFLAKE result. Since I really like consistent flavors, we thought it would make sense to use as much of the same brandy as possible.
