ABOUT KONGES SLØJD

How it all began

Konges Sløjd was founded in 2014 by the then 23-year-old mother Emilie Konge in Copenhagen. In search of organic baby clothes and beautiful interiors for her little son, she started making mobiles and other small kids' interior products in a small basement while her baby was sleeping. With her vision and her sense of design, she created a brand that won the hearts of all parents in no time.

DesignPHILOSOPHY

Konges Sløjd's designs are deeply rooted in the Scandinavian tradition and combine aesthetics and functionality in perfect harmony. Care and attention to detail make their products unique. The majority of the collection is characterized by typical Konges Sløjd Motifs such as Cherry, Dino, Lemon, Louloudi and many more are featured, which have a strong recognition value and underline the romantic look.

For the future

Konges Sløjd focuses on sustainability, quality and Scandinavian design. The brand uses environmentally friendly materials such as organic cotton and FSC-certified wood. It combines aesthetic simplicity with functionality. The aim is to create durable and safe products for children that are stylish and practical at the same time.
