The two-part name combines salon, the English term for the small outside space of a drawing room (drawing room), and drab, a term that is popular among true colorists and simply describes a color that lacks luminosity. The depth of this color speaks to you immediately and it creates the classic feeling of the 19th century in the home, and is the perfect “chocolate color” for a modern look. This warm drab color serves as a dark accompaniment to both yellow and red based neutrals.
