Moonboon Kapok mattress for spring cradle natural

The kapok mattress consists of natural, ecological and sustainable kapok fibers from the kapok tree, which is also known as the wool tree. The mattress is 35 cm wide and 90 cm long and designed for use with the Moonboon spring cradle. The kapok mattress must not be washed. It is sufficient for the fibers of the mattress to ventilate it outdoors once a month.

Kapok fibers contain around 80% air and are therefore the lightest natural fibers in the world - around eight times lighter than ordinary cotton. The absorbed air in the fibers makes the kapok an insulating and heat regulating material that will guarantee your baby a comfortable sleep.

Kapok fibers naturally contain wax, lignin and bitter substances. This makes kapok the only material that is naturally resistant to mold and pesticides. The antibacterial properties also mean that dust mites cannot survive, which makes kapok particularly good for babies.
