The base is adjustable and allows for a variety of combination options - this is one of the central ideas behind Viggo Einfeldt's Juno bed. The bed is very well made. Two side pieces are included with which the bed can be extended from a baby bed to a junior bed.

The mattress consists of two parts, a baby mattress and an additional mattress that is only used when you expand the bed for older children by pulling it out.
